This is a rare and original vintage US Lobby card for the all-time classic stage and screen 1961 musical 'West Side Story'. The updating of Romeo and Juliet, brought to the streets of New York with the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks challenging the young lovers. The film has most recently been remade by Steven Spielberg but the original was a knock-out winning 10 Academy Awards.

The Lobby card has elements designed by the infamous Saul Bass, the prolific film and movie sequence title designer. It features the iconic dance sequence in Brooklyn and the image is instantly recognisable. It is card #3 from the set of 8, all produced in an attractive pink tinged style but arguably the best of the bunch.
