2026 Academy Awards Limited Edition: Train Dreams
This Limited Edition Train Dreams alternative movie poster was designed by Matt Needle, the Cardiff-based Illustrator whose work captures the spirit of cinema through bold graphic storytelling. Each year, Matt creates a special collection inspired by the Academy Awards nominated films, producing collectible alternative film art prints for movie lovers and poster collectors. Through an exclusive partnership with reelstore, only 50 A2 Limited Edition prints of each design in the 2026 Academy Awards collection will be available. Every print includes a certificate of authenticity with the artist’s digital signature.
This ‘inspired-by’ design* celebrates Train Dreams, the adaptation of Denis Johnson’s acclaimed novella. Set in the early twentieth-century American West, the story follows Robert Grainier, a solitary labourer whose life unfolds against vast landscapes shaped by railroads, forests and quiet moments of reflection.
