Designed by the brilliant Spanish graphic designer Rafa Orrico Díez, this alternative* poster of Martin Scorsese’s era-defining Taxi Driver captures the fractured mind of the film’s infamous anti-hero protagonist, Travis Bickle, played chillingly by Robert De Niro, through aesthetic deconstruction.
Born in Valencia in 1988, Rafa started working as a graphic designer in 2017, and has since collaborated with agencies all over the world to create official movie posters and new poster designs for a wide range of acclaimed films.
Sized A1, the poster is printed on sustainable recycled paper with a thick 280gsm and matte texture, giving Rafa’s vision of Scorsese and writer Paul Schrader’s evergreen warning of isolation a fittingly substantial feel and eye-catching finish.
