This is a original vintage A1 poster for Carroll Ballard’s award winning tale 'The Prisoner of Second Avenue'. The story revolves around the escalating problems of a middle-aged couple living on Second Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Mel Edison (Jack Lemmon) suddenly loses his job experiences a nervous breakdown. He and his understanding wife (Anne Bancroft) must adapt to this new and rather unpleasant reality.

The highly expressive poster was designed by Karel Vaca, 1977
