This is a original vintage Czech A3 poster for 'Proud Princess', the 1952 film by Bořivoj Zeman. The film follows a Czech fairy tale about the proud princess Krasomila who refused to marry King Miroslav. When the time comes for young and handsome King Benjamin to find a wife, he is presented with a portrait of beautiful princess Carolina, and he is so enchanted that in return he sends his portrait to her, but spoiled and proud princess Carolina rejects him. 

The poster was designed by Dobroslav Foll in 1973.
