2026 Academy Awards Limited Edition: Hamnet
This Limited Edition Hamnet alternative movie poster was illustrated by Matt Needle, the Cardiff-based Designer known for his evocative film artwork. Each year, Matt develops a special series inspired by the Academy Awards nominated films, creating collectible alternative film art prints for movie fans and collectors. Through an exclusive partnership with reelstore, only 50 A2 Limited Edition prints of each design in the 2026 Academy Awards collection will be released. Each print includes a certificate of authenticity with the artist’s digital signature.
This ‘inspired-by’ design* is based on Hamnet, the historical drama adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s acclaimed novel. The film tells the poignant story of Agnes Shakespeare and the loss of her young son Hamnet, a tragedy that echoes through the life and work of William Shakespeare.
