This is an original, rolled, Japanese B2 theatrical movie poster from 1977 for the release of Solaris in Japan. The 1972 Soviet psychological science fiction film based on Stanisław Lem's 1961 novel of the same title features the crew of a space station orbiting the oceanic planet, Solaris, as they go insane under mysterious circumstances. Kelvin, a psychologist, is sent there to find out the cause for this. Directed by Andrei Tarkovsky.
