Cuban Poster Art is some of the most prolific in the world. Post revolutionary Cuba experienced a huge cultural and creative shift, with some of the countries artists deploying bold visual design to embody the spirit and ideals of the nation. Movie poster art sponsored by the Instituto Cubano del Arte y la Industria Cinematográfica (ICAIC) makes up a huge body of Cuba's posters. 

This original 1st edition and sought-after Cuban handmade silk-screen poster was handmade in Cuba in 2009 to salute Schindler's List, the 7-time Academy Award-winning 1993 U.S. film directed by Steven Spielberg. A copy of this poster is the permanent collection of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles. This silk screen was officially printed at the ICAIC (Cuban Film Institute) silk-screen workshop in Havana, Cuba.
