An original 1971 AUS/NZ Daybill for Shaft. This box office Blaxploitation hit was one of the first major releases of the era. John Shaft (Richard Roundtree) is the ultimate in suave black detectives. He first finds himself up against Bumpy (Moses Gunn), the leader of the black crime mob, then against black nationals, and finally working with both against the white mafia who are trying to blackmail Bumpy by kidnapping his daughter. The film, known as much for the soundtrack has an incredible score by Isaac Hayes.

Size: Large Vertical (13' x 30')

Condition: Very Good Condition. This popular artwork has no major faults, with two minor fold lines 1/3rd from top and bottom. Colours are still bright and design is stand out. Requires no further attention to display.

This is not a reproduction or reprint. This is an original poster that was meant to be displayed outside a cinema or in a lobby somewhere in the world. Some of these posters are limited runs, signed, stickered or a super rare style. Some carry the scars of being well loved, either way it will look great on your wall.
