This is a rare and original vintage US half sheet for the 1958 Otto Preminger French romantic melodrama. The film follows a jealous, sophisticated 17-year-old girl who meddles in her father's impending remarriage with tragic consequences. It is an interplay of five unconventional people competing for 'kicks', pleasures and love. Based on the novel by Francoise Sagan.

The poster is designed by the infamous Saul Bass, the prolific film and movie sequence title designer. The design captures the films title, which in English reads 'Hello, Sadness', with the illustrated face of our young girl shedding a single tear. Also featured are our cast in beautifully arrange landscape photographic placements.
