This is a rare and original vintage US one sheet for the 1959 American courtroom drama and crime film 'Anatomy of a Murder' produced and directed by Otto Preminger. A virtuoso James Stewart plays a small-town Michigan lawyer who takes on a difficult case: the defense of a young army lieutenant (Ben Gazzara) accused of murdering a local tavern owner who he believes raped his wife (Lee Remick).
The poster is designed by the infamous Saul Bass, the prolific film and movie sequence title designer. The design features a yellow and black color scheme with silhouette art and images of stars Stewart, Remick and Gazzara. It also features the body outline which is synonymous with Bass' work and this iconic story.
