This is a original vintage A3 poster for Jean Renoir's French comedy 'Picnic On the Grass' starring Paul Meurisse, Fernand Sardou and Catherine Rouvel. Alexis, a respected scientist, has an exciting intellectual life, but his social life is sterile. He meets a woman, who wants children but not easily impressed, at a picnic he hosts. An impressionistic incantation with a feeling of sunlight in its warmth and glow.
