An original 1972 A1 Polish Poster for the French comedy film Les Maries de l'an II, otherwise known as The Scoundrel. Nicolas Phillibert, played by Jean-Paul Belmondo, kills a noble who is close to his wife and is forced to leave the country. In doing so, he falls in love with a rich American heiress. After deciding to return home to divorce his wife, he later changes his mind after he sees other men romancing her.
This Polish Poster is original artistry, printed in 1972, of the designer Andrzej Krajewski who created artworks with his art-deco signature style and in pop-art like effects and colouring. It's a beautiful marriage and example of French cinema and Polish design.
Artist: Andrzej Krajewski
Size: A1 (59 x 84cm)
Condition: Very good. Minor damage to left of centre and middle fold line.
