Explore the iconic works of the design pioneer, Saul Bass. In the Summer of 2022, we showcased a small collection of some of his finest film poster artworks, including Love in the Afternoon, the Shining and The Man with the Golden Arm.

Saul Bass designed film poster art and film titles for over four decades, working with some of the world's greatest film-makers including Otto Preminger, Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick. Born in New York in the 1920, he embraced Hollywood in the triumphant 1940's when finally he got his break designing the poster art and movie titles for Preminger's 'Carmen Jones'. His illustrusious career made him an Academy Award winner and icon within designers and filmmakers across the globe.
